The Áarstova-brothers, poets Janus and Hans Andrias Djurhuus, were born and raised in the humble house named Áarstova (The house by the brook), wedged between Havnará (the Tórshavn brook) and Áarvegur, the main street (by the brook) in old Tórshavn.
